About Charitable Planning

This course covers the essential financial planning aspects of charitable giving. The features and benefits of charitable giving plans are presented as well as a review of the legislation that governs charitable giving.

Tools and techniques of charitable planning are covered in detail, including: income percentage limits; gifts of property; e-philanthropy and technology issues; private and community foundations; charitable annuities, trusts, funds and life insurance; general rules for charitable deductions; and partial interest rules.  Appendixes include numerous advisor resources (see link to table of contents above).
