This course meets the Oregon ethics CPE requirement for licensees who have renewed their license at least once. (New licensees must take a course covering the Oregon statutes and regulations, which must be pre-approved by the Oregon Board of Accountancy-see Beacon Hill course: Oregon Accounting Statutes and Rules.
Ethics for Accountants: Oregon covers current ethical issues in the accounting profession and the newly revised and codified AICPA Code of Professional Conduct (with examples and case studies). The Oregon Board of Accountancy Code of Professional Conduct is included in the Appendix, with cross-references to the AICPA Rules.
This course is an interactive self-study course and meets the NASBA QAS Self-Study standard.
Oregon License Renewal Date
For an odd-numbered license - 6/30 of odd years; for an even-numbered license - 6/30 of even years.
CPE Reporting Period
7/1 to 6/30 biennially ending on even-numbered years for even license numbers and odd-numbered years for odd license numbers
24 hours per year
