Beacon Hill CFP Ethics Workshop

The 2019 edition of the Beacon Hill Ethics Workshop “do-it-yourself” seminar presentation is now to use as a live CFP Board-approved ethics program.

The presentation consists of the following:

  • PowerPoint presentation of the course
  • Instructor notes
  • Masters for the duplication of:
    • Handout (we insert the instructor’s name on the course-information page The handout is emailed to you as a PDF, and you can email it to attendees in advance to save on print costs.)
    • Certificate (pre-signed, with date, location, and instructor name)
    • Evaluation form (to be completed by attendees)

The presentation runs 100 minutes (with allowance for discussion).

Once the workshop is completed, you send us the roster (preferably digital) of attendees and the completed evaluation forms. We report the credits to CFP Board within several days of receiving the roster electronically (one week for rosters received as hard copy). The instructor may receive CE credit for the presentation at no charge.

The fee for “rental” of the workshop materials is $10 per attendee, with a maximum of $750 per workshop. There is no contract to sign. We send you an invoice after we know the final count of attendees.

Important note: The instructor must be a CFP® certificant (and have held CFP® certification for at least five years) and must have successfully completed the 2019 edition of the CFP Board’s live Instructor Training webinar requirement for ethics program instructors. The webinars are offered periodically by the CFP Board and up-to-date scheduling information can be found on the CFP Board’s website. The instructor must also submit an Ethics Instructor Webinar Attestation form also accessible from the CFP Board’s website.
