Course Description
This course is approved by the New York State Board of Accountancy through 8/31/2021.
Ethics for Accountants: New York is a professional ethics course and it is approved by the New York State Board of Accountancy (sponsor # 002146). The course covers current ethical issues in the accounting profession, the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, and the New York State Board of Accountancy Rules of the Board of Regents and the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education. Case studies are provided.
All other CPA-credit courses are accepted by the NY Board under our NASBA sponsorship #107615.
NOTE: You can take this course even if you take all of your CPE in a single area of concentration (i.e. 24 CPE in accounting, tax, or auditing). The course will count towards the 24 hour CPE total (i.e. 4 CPE in ethics plus 20 CPE in your area of concentration). This course is an interactive self-study course and meets the NASBA QAS Self-Study standard. You can take this course each renewal cycle as we update it annually.
