The course covers current issues and special topics in ethics in the accounting profession and the current AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.

This course is accepted in the following states where two hours in general professional ethics CPE is required: AL, KS, KY, MI, MO, MT, and SC.

You have the option to buy this course (titled “Ethics for Accountants 2 CPE”) or the same course but with your state included in the title (for example “Ethics for Accountants: Kentucky.”) If you opt for the state-specific course, your certificate of completion will show your state in the course-title. This course will not satisfy the ethics requirement for states where a course covering state-specific rules and regulations is required. See your state board of accountancy requirements on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy website.
