Ethics for Accountants 4 CPE #590425

Course Description
This course was updated on 1/1/2025.
This course meets the ethics CPE requirement for licensed CPAs in states that require a general 4-hour course in regulatory or professional ethics (and not in states where the course must cover the state’s rules and regulations specifically). It covers ethics in the accounting profession and the current AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.
This course is accepted in the following states where four hours in general professional ethics CPE is required: AK, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, NE, NV, NH, NM, OK, OR, PA, VT, WV.
You have the option to buy this course (titled “Ethics for Accountants 4 CPE”) or the same course but with your state included in the title (for example “Ethics for Accountants: California.”) If you opt for the state-specific course, your certificate of completion will show your state in the course-title. Otherwise, it will simply state “Ethics for Accountants 4 CPE.” For more information, please visit the Shop for Courses page on our website. Also see your state board of accountancy requirements on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy website.
This course will not satisfy the ethics requirement for states where a course covering state-specific rules and regulations is required. See the Shop for Courses page on our website.
For state-specific ethics requirements, professional conduct rules, and other regulations, visit our Support page on our website.
This course is an interactive self-study course and meets the NASBA QAS Self-Study standard. You can take this course each renewal cycle as we update it annually.
